Chinawood
Hengdian, a rural town in China's Zhejiang province, offers a surreal journey through Chinese history. Farmland has been turned into life-size replicas of Chinese historical sites, the most famous being Beijing's Forbidden City. Also known as 'Chinawood', Hengdian is considered the world's largest outdoor film studio. Thousands of hopefuls arrive here every year to work as film extras.
